The following pictures are from my most recent small project. The cracks are caused by what has become, sadly enough, almost nationwide industry standard: Poor building practices. When less than qualified, poorly trained people build, cover, and finish a structure, it will in time, become evident. "Build it quick, build it cheap, sell it quick, make a profit" attitude has driven quality and safety to depressing lows. This set of pictures shows what happens within a few years (or less), when the construction process is shoddy and careless, from structural framing-to-finish. Then it is... "repaired" by someone less than qualified, less than ethical who claims to be a knowledgeable and experienced professional. The best evidence of a proper drywall repair, is no evidence of drywall repair.
